Email is a powerful tool that can gain you new prospective clients and customers. Unfortunately email is also the most abused promotion facility online.
We have all probably received one of the 3 Ps (Pills, Porn and Poker) at some point in our inbox, and it’s because of this ongoing battle between ‘Spamvertisers’ and Internet Service Providers and in some cases Law Enforcement that it is becoming increasingly harder to ensure your emails are reaching your recipients.
So, you hit that ‘Send’ button, what happens next? Does your email get through, does it automatically get marked as Spam and end up in the Junk folder or does it just never reach its destination?
Unfortunately most people believe that once you hit ‘send,’ that's the only thing you can do to get your emails out to your email list. Everything that happens from that point on is pure luck. Although hitting the ‘send’ button is the final step in sending an email, there is plenty you can do to make sure your email gets through the bullet proof protection that surrounds email inboxes.
