I am designing a custom module for DNN in visual studio 2005 (Vb).

how the users can open some .txt files from my module.

when I use  Respond.Redirect("test.txt")  on my local computer, it works fine.

when I use it on the server I give the IE error page.

Any idea? I already appreciate.

When you say that you want users to be able to "open some .txt files" ... do you mean that you want them to be able to click on a link to a file and have it downloaded?

If you've got things working on your local site, but not on your live site, I'd first guess that you aren't pointing at the right file. Have you checked that the URLs are correct and that the files are in the right place on your live site?

I figured out that I have to use the complete URL while I thought I can use just the file name if it is on the same folder.
