Hi,
Thanks for the review!
I'm curious though about what you're seeing on my Contact Us page. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.8 and IE 7.0 and I do not see the HTML code that you're saying is there. What browser and version are you using that shows this?
Thanks!

I'm wondering, does it show up with the HTML visible if you do a refresh? I've looked at the code and it's correct. I went into Edit and checked the Source and it all looks good. :-( |

Very nice looking ... and this just after reading a blog entry taking the DotNetNuke community to task for "Most DNN websites have a certain “look & feel” to them regardless of the skin. It is "techie" and functional, but unintuitive and ugly." You've certainly broken that mold, has have others.
I'm wondering if you've been influenced the the DotNetNuke guru who works for the Loudon County government ... |

Nice, clean look! Search doesn't seem to work in FireFox when clicking the search button. |

JnCraig: Actually, yes...it was Kuba from Loudoun County who got me fired up about DotNetNuke. He's been providing guidance to me when I need it.
I had my Skin done up by Bi4Ce, who did a very nice job. I've had to make some modifications, but that's what sites like Lee's are for. :-)
Thank you very much for the complements.
DigMike: Thank you as well. I checked out what you were saying with the Search. I do receive results, except when I put in a Search term that isn't indexed. When I put something in that there are no result sets for, I receive a blank page. Not sure why that is, so I need to research it to see how I can get an Empty Result set to say "No results were found. Please try another search."
Thanks all!
Mark

I met Kuba a couple of months ago at the Northern Virginia DotNetNuke User Group meeting. Unfortunately, I missed his presentation this month as I had a conflict. Do you attend those meetings? |

Hi Mark, Maybe it's just me and all my wonderful firefox addons causing a problem But I can not actually 'click' on the search button. I inspected it with firefox, and for some reason the link for the search button is not where you would think. And in fact, if I click the blue area (see below) it will then launch a search. Am I the only one experiencing this? Ok, I don't think I'm crazy, I just checked Safari, and it's doing the same thing. Also, I'm not sure what you are using for a scroller, but it doesn't work in Opera. If you are looking for a module that will do a similar thing and work in opera check out [shamelessplug] digRotate [/shamelessplug] Thanks, Mike

Even though it's a bit of a drive, think about coming to one of the monthly meetings of the Capital DotNetNuke Users Group meetings. The meetings are near Tyson's Corner. I've only managed to get to one meeting, but it was enjoyable. I'll hope to be there this week. There are even people who come down from Pennsylvania! |

If you haven't seen it, the meeting this month is NEXT Wednesday, and not the evening before Thanksgiving Day. |

Well done!
I am finishing up a site for our local soccer league. I am working on a customization which will allow team members to quickly communicate via text messaging to their cell phone. We seem to need that given last minute cancellations due to weather around where I live. Parents were asking for this kind of tool.
Besides text messaging, the site will have your usual picture gallery, team roster, team schedule, soccer program info, etc... all secured by different user roles. each team = 1 user role so the info stays confidential.
It is looking nice. Once it is done, I will show it to you as you may also benefit from this type of functionality given your sports area of the site. |
