Is it possible to create a skin that has invisible panes?  If so, how would I make the panes invisible?

I have in mind creating some "printer-friendly" skins for my site, and I'd like -- at least for some pages -- to have the left or right pane, and perhaps the headers and footers disappear.

If you google" DotNetNuke rounded container" you'll find a lot of references. There are references to free skins with containers that have rounded corners. There are also skins for sale for between $10 and $20. It might be worth your while to purchase one and see how it's done.

If you want to create a print skin, all you need to do is use a print.CSS file - from there you can specify which panes and skin objects you wish to appear on the print page.

For instance you can use the following code to remove these div ids:

#sidebar, #extras, #header p
{
    display: none;
}

Thanks, Lee. This is a lot simpler than the approach that I took, so I'll have to give it a try!

I took the skin picker code, pasted it into the bottom of my .ascx skin file, copied my module.css to skin.css and editied it. That's it!
