I am so thankful you put out the latest tutorial.  It has really helped me learn more about CSS but I'm still on the green side.

The issue I am having is the skin template that came with the tutorial over rides the format settings for sqlgridview, event log, etc.  Seems like anything that is being pulled from the database...

If I apply the Red Leaf skin, then the module format settings reappear.  Any idea what it is about the issue 25 skin that is causing this?

From what I've been reading, it seems the different .css files are loaded in a certain order in DNN.  So my follow up question is, "What is that order?".  I've seen a few sites and I'm still not clear on what order they load but I did glean that the last one to load should "over-ride" the others.

Is that correct?

Okay, using the css toolbar in Mozilla, I discovered that the format settings in body section of the skin.css file is over-riding the format settings of the module.css.

If I remove those settings, then I see the formatting from the module.css. 

So what do I need to do to insure the settings in the module.css over-ride the settings in the skin.css.  Shouldn't the module.css be read last?  (I know I can remove the settings from the skin.css but not sure I want to...)

If you haven't figured it out yet, I am new to this and yes I know I should view all of the tutorials but I'm running out of time.  Fortunately, this is not a deal breaker and this is a club website and I'm a volunteer. :-)

Yes you are correct, the order of the css files is:

module.css
default.css
skin.css
container.css
portal.css
skinname.css

It may help to read: Introduction to CSS and inheritance in DotNetNuke skins
- so skin.css can override module.css - if this is the case then it maybe worth creating a separate skin for that module and remove the skin.css code that is causing the problem. - Or if that is not an option I would rename the classes in the skin.css file so that they do not clash and override settings in the module.css file.
