Lee,
First of all I would like to congratulate you on running an excellent, to the point online magazine for DotNetNuke.
I always look forward to the next issue of DNN Creative as it uncovers concepts about DNN which otherwise would take a lot of effort to understand.
The video tutorials are very logical and to the point, also other materials such as article links and other resources are super worth more than the subscription fee.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge of DotNetNuke, your magazine is the first resource I look up for my DNN queries.
I have a few suggestions/queries for maybe the next Video Tutorials or perhaps articles. I could not find much information on these topics other than the links listed below
1) Telerik DNN Controls: Overview of how to integrate them into a DNN site
http://dnn.telerik.com/Support/radE...fault.aspx2) Is there a way to isolate the Newsletter module in the admin area of a DNN site so that content editors could use it without having access to the full admin menu?
3) Overview and maybe best practices for setting up the Shop module
Lastly I realized in your previous email you mentioned you are going to DevConnections in Las Vegas this November.
I am also intending to attend this conference. Is there a UK user group of people attending this conference? I need some help and advice on planning the trip, it would be great if I could get in touch with yourself or someone to discuss the conference. I am attending the UK Mix conference in London next week if you are attending it would be great to have a chat.
Regards
Jav
Thanks, glad to hear you find the magazine useful.
1) I have not used the Telerik DNN controls, but I can add the tutorial to the list and I will research it
2) yes, I outlined how to release admin menu items in this post:
Limited Admin Menu3) At the moment I would not use the DotNetNuke core store module as I have heard it is still quite buggy. I would have a look around for other solutions on Snowcovered at this moment in time
I don't know about a UK user group of people attending a conference, but if you wish to ask any questions regarding this then please feel free to create a new thread in the DNN Creative forum.
Thanks,
