I've used HouseMenu Professional in the past, and though we liked it, when on Admin pages we found that the form elements (textareas, etc) would cover the dropdown menu and hide it.

Has this been overcome, or has anyone else experienced this and figured out how to overcome it?

Have you tried asking this question at the House of Nuke's forum?

I just looked over there and found a discussion that referred to a "problem with form elements covering over the menu."  Possibly that's your issues ,because the thread refers to using the House menu for administrative users.

The thread says that there are updates that solve the problem.  So ... you might want to check that out.
