Aesthetically clean site. Takes a bit long to load and I don't like the little settings tab on the left side where a user could switch the background in the header. If you're the designer, you make the choice, you shouldn't be allowing people to change the appearance. At that point, what's the purpose of a designer?
Also the redundancy of the login box int he middle and above the header is a bit much. One or the other. Wish you would have made it a responsive design as well...

Hey Darek,
I appreciate your insights. I'm not the skin designer, but overall I am the site designer so to speak. We are actually moving to another design here in a few months. That said, you're right about the side settings tab. We had it there during development and basically forgot about it. The login button in the middle is there for launch purposes, but the tab up top has already met the fate of the doe-doe bird in our next release (it was causing to many issues).
What intrigues me the most is this notion of a responsive design. I don't know much about it. Where might I read up on such things?

Absolutely - You can find HTML5/CSS3 responsive design skins found at
http://store.dotnetnuke.com.
If you decide to pursue this approach on your own I've been using the framework found at:
http://www.getskeleton.com/.
There are many more out there but I feel this framework is more lightweight then others and definitely more customizable upon your design/development techniques.

Sleek intro video on the top of the page! Very professional.
I seem to be a bit lost in the navigation though. It might just be how my browser rendered it. If the navigation was contained in some sort of menu, I think it would be a bit easier to navigate.
Also, I forget what it's called, but I love that drop down log in plugin. Is it possible to make that div fixed, so it stays at the top of your browser even when you scroll through the site?
