Hi

I am using the superfish menu in dnn 6 but the dropdown menus display under the content text and are not clickable. The menu is part of a dnn 5 skin but the developers haven't upgraded their skin package. Does anyone know how to fix this issue.

Did you fix this? I don't see it with IE, FF, and Chrome.

(The usual suggestion is to upgrade to DotNetNuke 6.1.2 and to look at the z-index for the dnnModule class.)

I haven't managed to fix it. If you go on to the products drop down you will see it doesn't work over the content writing. I read on another forum where in dnn 6 all content has a z value of 999.

I am using 06.01.02 (98). I have tried the z-index values but nothing is working.

Adding this style:

.DnnModule{z-index:0}

to the end of your portal.css file will fix the issue on the page mentioned. You will need to check to make sure that doesn't interfere with anything else.

The z-index issue has been modified several times in the 6.x releases. I thought that it was fixed in 6.1.2, but it may be that your menu needs some additional z-index settings to put it into agreement with the current stylesheets.

Sorry for the late reply. I tried it in the portal css it didn't work so I put it in the skin css superfish css and superfish-navbar css and it worked. Thanks for your help and guidance. That was frustrating

I'll try to remember to ask in the future which menu people are using. (I'm currently fighting with a site that was upgrade and it uses a very non-standard menu.)
