I'm a bit disappointed that my post about my hosting experience with PowerDNN was removed. It was a genuine, clean, and honest review, however it looks like the working relationship between DNNCreative and PowerDNN means that any negative reviews about PowerDNN must be censored or removed, and only posts titled "PowerDNN Rocks" can remain.
The gestapo would be proud.

Hi dkong,
Whenever a review is posted by a useraccount with such few posts (either positive or negative but especially negative), I ask that the comments be taken offline to discuss the situation. I indicated this in the email I sent to you last week shortly after doing it. I was also CCed on the email that Tony Valenti sent to you requesting more details about your experience.
Also, as I indicated in my email, once I hear back from you and Tony, I'll activate your comments again.

Hi Daren,
On Saturday I sent the following email to you and am still hoping that you'll send me a reply.
---------------
Hi Daren,
My name is Tony Valenti and I am the CEO of PowerDNN.
This morning I noticed your post on DNN Creative and I wanted to reach out to you personally about your experience.
I am sorry about the downtime that you experienced due to Windows Updates and such. I looked at your account and I noticed that when you signed up with us, we only had USA and Europe environments available. About a month ago, Australia came online.
I am also disappointed that we did not provide you the level of service that we should have. I know that you are no longer a customer, but if you can let me know your ticket number, I would really like to discuss this with a support manager. I take a lot of personal pride in PowerDNN being the best, but it sounds like we did not come through for you.
If you're ever interested in coming back, I am more than willing to provide you with 6 months of service at no charge.
I hope to hear back from you,
Tony Valenti
---------------
If you do choose to come back to us at some time in the future, at the top of ever ticket response is a link that allows you to provide feedback on how we're handling things for you. Every manager (including myself) reads every one of these messages, unfortunately, because you never left us any comments, we never had the opportunity to give your account more love.

Hi Lee,
I'm glad this post wasn't censored so cheers for keeping this discussion out in the open.
Unfortunately I never received an email from you so it does explain my surprise when I had one direct from Tony. I had a quick look in my spam folders and nothing there recently but I guess anything to do with hosting could trigger a spam alert.
I'm not trying to play devils advocate here but you said "Whenever a review is posted by a useraccount with such few posts (either positive or negative but especially negative), I ask that the comments be taken offline to discuss the situation". Ironicallly there is a post titled "PowerDNN rocks", and the user has made a total of 6 posts. I'm not trying to trip you up but if there is actually a policy on the matter it would make it more transparent, consistent and fair.
I can understand some people may post with an agenda (competitors etc), so a "drive by posting" may sometimes not seem reasonable. I definitely don't fit that category and I have plenty of PowerDNN support tickets to back me up on most of the claims that I may make.
