Well as far as I know there is nothing for DNN 5 at the moment but I could be wrong I am looking for one at the moment for my sites but so far no luck anyway if I come across one I will let you know. Also if I do not find one by monday I am going to build my own.

Googling shows that there are several available. I've never used one, so I can't anwer the "good" part of the question.
I have, though, used a FAQ module. You could also use the Announcements module.

None of them on google are DNN 5 compatible from what I can see and I have done a lot of research on it. Someone did suggest using the wiki module for this but it would not look like a glossary nor would it at like one. There is no system at present that I can see that has an A-Z list and the ability to add items to it. So I will keep looking and if no luck by Monday then I will create one. With my massive work load at the moment I estimate completion in one month but like always with these things I can not be sure of. In case it comes to that any ideas what a glossary should contain would be good or anything you can think of to add to it.

I just looked at Snowcovered ...
The Tek Glossary v2.2 (New) DNN 4.5.5+ is said to be compatible with DotNetNuke 5.
SmartWork Glossary says it's compatible with DotNetNuke 4. THere is an "ask a question" link where you could ask.
"Many" modules are upwardly compatible. So, ask the developers. The demo of Tek Glossary works. The other inspires less confidence.
Another option would be to purchase the source for a module that is close and then you can modify it. I don't usually take that approach as reading someone else's code sometimes is scary.

I know what you mean Joseph about other peoples code my own scares me some times.
Anyway I know why I did not spot them. I was searching for modules under the DNN 5 category which they were not listed when I searched for glossary under DNN 5+.
But Searched for glossary for all DNN versions and loads came up. The problem I have encountered with some modules is they will work on DNN 5 if you are using ASP.net 2 but I am using asp.net 4 which causes all sorts of issues.
I am going to try a few of these out and will report back anyway.
Thanks again and I hope we helped you Primus

ASP.NET 4 seems to be an issue. I tried to install the Razor module in a 5.6.1 installation and that requires ASP.NET 4. Installing that (on an old Windows 2003 server) caused lots of problems with existing sites.
I just switched everything back to ASP.NET 3.5 (it actually says 2.x on the IIS panel) and got everything running again. That's a dev server. I put my plans to play with Razor on hold for a bit ...

Try this on codeplex, it has 4 simple modules, one of them is glossary, it is basic but all the required features, although in Alpha version it is working fine on my 6.2.2
I tried the glossary only

Hi,
We have
DigFAQ
which you could use. You can make a category for each Letter. It's template driven so you can make it look the way you want or use one of the built-in templates. It works on DNN 4.5.5+, 5, 6 and DNN 7, ASP.NET 2, 3.5, 4, 4.5. Download the 15 day trial and give it a go.
Thanks
Mike
