Hello,
Is it possible to manage (delete, modify) the pages of my website with microsoft management sql studio express?
If yes, where can I find them in my database?
thanks

Hi Marco,
While this is technically possible by removing entries from the "tabs" table in SQL, I would highly recommend NOT doing that. (btw, once you do that, you will need to restart your website in order to clear DNN's cache).
If you have a little bit of programming experience, I would recommend using DotNetNuke's TabController class to interact with the database and remove the tabs that you want.

We do have a nice set of tutorials on the use of SQL to manage various aspects of DotNetNuke. Look at these:
Introduction to SQL Queries with SQL Server Express, DotNetNuke and Vista
SQL Queries for Exporting DotNetNuke Users and Working with Security Roles
Working with Shadow / Copied Modules and SQL in DotNetNuke
How to Update the DotNetNuke Page Settings Using SQL Queries
Administrating modules in DotNetNuke using SQL
Administrating Skins and Containers using SQL
How to Quickly Add Large Quan ies of Data into DotNetNuke Modules
Having said that, these are not things that should be done casually. Deleting and adding items does require that you have an understanding of the relationships between various tables in the DotNetNuke database.
ALWAYS! ALWAYS make a backup copy of your database before you begin. That way, you can always get back to where you started should you do something that breaks your installation.
I recall that the Professional DotNetNuke 4 and Professional DotNetNuke 5 books do have some discussion of some of the tables. You might want to look for those

Thank you for your reply.
I'll try to explain better my problem. I'm using Gsitecrawler to create the sitemap. I have seen inside sitemap several pages that I deleted many times ago and I don't know why...
For this reason I'm trying to find the way to delete them definitively.
Have you ever had the same problem?
M.

Those pages may be in the recycle bin (the DotNetNuke one). Empty it (Admin, Recycle Bi) and see if that helps.
