I would like to place a side feedback tab on one of my websites. How is this done? Is it a skin item or can it be achieved with a module?
Thanks.

Thanks. I've never really messed around with altering skins other than by using the tools that come with a skin pack. Can you suggest a resource I could visit to learn how to this?
Thanks.

Here is a quick think that you can play with to get a handle on how to do some things. This is done with a Text/HTML module.
Add a Text/HTML module to the page, set the container to not be displayed, and turn off the visibility and print features. Get into the Raw mode of the editor and use this as the contents of the module (removing the extra spaces around the < and > brackets):
< div id="myTest" >< /div >
Add this as your CSS
#myTest
{
height:200px;
width:30px;
font-color:red;
background-color:red;
border:2px solid black;
position:absolute;
top:400;
left:0;
}
This example will create a rectangular block that is absolutely positioned on the left side of the screen. I like to play with things like this using Web Developer Toolbar (if Firefox) for the developer tools in IE so that you can play with the CSS and see how it affects what you are doing.
In practice, you would use a background image for the link, and add a link.
If you are doing this with a module, you'll need to set the module to display on every page.
If you are doing this in a skin, just add the div to the skin. Put is somewhere out of the way so that it doesn't interfere with other things. Near the top is a good place.

I was able to create the side bar tab but I cannot figure out how to get it to trigger a feedback module. I'm using the iWeb Feedback module which has a pop-up mode. From their help screen it says "You can customize any skin object into form trigger button in popup mode using the jquery selector. For example: #Feedback." In the module settings you can specify the name of the object you want to use for the trigger. I asked this question via their support desk but I have not received an answer yet so I decided to see if anyone here can help me.
What code would I need to put in the html code I used to create the tab in order to trigger the pop-up form? I'm using
David Tang's Feedback Tab jQuery Plugin
to generate the tab.
Thanks!

Fred,
Can you give me a link or reference to the feedback module?
