Hi, IO am trying to create a nav menu using the DNN Nav menu that looks like the menu on this page
http://www.upc.org/cfm.aspx.
It is the menu under the Children and Families blue banner. I created the current menu without usiing the DNN Nav menu. I would like to create it using the DNN Nav Menu but can not figure out how to style it so that it displays the sub pages of the cfm page in a horizontal fashion. Please help. Kevin

I would try using something like the DNN Links module or Ventrian's Child Links module.
Was the left nav also done by hand? If so, you might find it easier to user DNN Garden's DDR menu. It will produce the unordered list. You can use the includenodes and excludenodes attributes to determine what does and what doesn't appear. If you wrote all of the javascript for what is there, you certainly have the skills to create a custom jquery/xlt file set to make a custom menu.
Come to think of it, you can also do this for the horizontal nav.
If you need some more help or hints, please ask.

Thanks for the reply. I'm watching the tutorial on the DDR menu. However, I am confused on how to make the menu only display the child pages of a parent page like the CFM page I mentioned in my earlier post. Also I can not seem to figure out how to make the sub pages not be a vertical drop down menu. Thanks for you help. Kevin

Remember that, for the most part, the DDR menu in Nav mode duplicates the DNN Nav menu. A good reference to the DotNetNuke menu and skin objects is
here
.
Specifying Level="Child" as an attribute will display children of the current page. ExpandDepth determines the number of levels to be displayed.
I assume that you want the subpages to appear horizontally? You will need to do this with a combination of CSS and, perhaps, some modification of the XLT or jquery files.

Here
is a simple example of displaying the elements of an unordered list horizontally. You can do this with CSS changes only.

Thanks for the response. I am able to get it to work using Level=Child for the parent page, but I have to change it to Level=Same on the child pages to show the same menu. Anyway to do this without using two skins?
Thanks for all the help.
