We use Adobe captivate to create webinars. For testing purposes I loaded one of our captivate files into the file manager. Then I opened an HTML/Text module, selected some text to link to the .htm file in the captivate directory. This is where the problem is, I use the hyperlink manager, then go to the captivate directory to select the .htm file. I do not see any files in that directory, there is a message saying there were no files to display.

In the hyperlink manager I need to click on the document icon to get to the captivate directory I created. When I do that, the hyperlink manager turns into a document manager. Is this module only able to detect document extension, not .htm?

Any suggestions on how to load captivate file using the file manager and link to them using the hyperlink manager?

If you are using the Telerik Editor (default for new installs of DotNetNuke), it looks like the Telerik Editor has it's own list of legal file extensions.  It looks to me like htm isn't a default allowed extension.  You will need to change that.

If you follow the example for using mp3 files, I think that will show you enough so that you can configure htm files.

Earlier I changed the configdefault.xml to include .htm in the list of DocumentManager.SearchPatterns.

Now I can see and select the .htm file, but I get a blank page when I click the link.  The only link that works is an absolute link to a folder outside of the file manager. 

I really would like to use the secure file system in the file manager to control access to the webinars. Do you think the Document Manager has a problem linking to an .htm page? The captivate webinars generally include 3 files, a .htm, .swf and a .js.
