I'm using seekdotnet as a hosting provider, whom generally I'm finding very helpfull and a good host, however I have the following problem that seems to be stumping them at the moment.

1st time I installed DNN 4.35 all was fine.  I then went and amended the Profile.ascx  file to reflect some changes I had made to the registration page.

After this, once I logged in as either host or admin, everytime I went to select an option from the 'admin' menu'  I would get the below run time error which I have copied below.

Since this both myself and seekdotnet have reinstalled DNN, but get the same problem.

Has anyone come across this before, any help in solving it, and you will be known as a legend!

I understand that DNN 4.3.5 has several bugs, some of which are related to page creation and using "default template", some bugs are connected to the dropdown menu on the containers. DNN 4.4.0 has solved some of them.

I have had similar problems with my site. I intend to upgrade to 4.4.1 as soon as possible.

I guess upgrading the DNN version is upto the host provider though as its installed through their control panel.

The weird thing is, that it worked the first time around.....

The only thing I can think of is, to replace the old version I deleted the Mysql database, then reinstalled DNN over the top.  Maybe its not a completly clean install that way....?...

I am with {url=http://www.SeekDotNet.com] SeekDotNet.com [/url] as well and regarding your DNN problems, usually it is about the bug in their control panel (this is a minor problem and their support usually will trouble shoot the case for you.)

I did have the same problems and I just ask them to manually install the DNN for me. The error went off and I am happy...
