DNN was acquried and installed by a 3d party tecnical resource to support a B2B website. When it was created, two Paypal modules came installed with it. After the install the technician ceased supporting the environment, so as a totally non-tech I have limped along. I have about 11 PayPal links to various subscription types to my website. Suddenly a week ago everyone of them stopped working. Each one now takes the user to the same server error message which contains nothing identifying anything specific. I contacted PayPal. Their solution was 1) it is not their problem, they have made no changes. I then contacted my host who said he had made no changes and did not know of any updates that requreid installation. He could not help. I recontacted PayPal. They showed me how to create a link on their site. I then used a Text/HTML module to at least create a hyperlink. Although PayPal gave me a link to a "botton" I still have not figured out how to make that look like a button that can be uploaded to images for use on the site. And, the problem with the PayPal soluiton is that, button image or not, it does not automatically assign a user role, so I have to do that after the payment notification is recieved. Anyway, the questions are --- is there a PayPal module that is part of the "basic" module set that has been udpated? Should I expect notification of moduel updates? Should I be able to get access to updated modules without paying and if so, how. If not do you have any ideas about how I can get the real reason the link broke so I can get either the host or PayPal to step up. Also, I have tried to right click and produce the source to maybe send to PayPal, but it is so lengthy, I have no idea I am doing anything productive. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. The failure of every link is crippling an already hurting little business becaseu people simply go away instead of reproting the problem. I have no idea how many dollars I have lost because I can't fix the problem. Thanks.

What is the nature of the failure?
I had a similar problem and was able to send the link that was posted to Paypal to their support team. They easily determined the error.
Have you contacted the developers of the Paypal modules that you are using? Perhaps they can give some help.

Thanks. How do I figure out who the developers are and how to contact them? The PayPal module came as part of the DNN software that I had installed. It was one of the numerous moduels available in the package provided by the tech. I did speak with PayPal support. By creating buttons on Paypal for everything done on my DNN site, then "hiding" the Paypal modules on the landing pages on my website and adding a text module with a hyperlink to the newly created Paypal button the user can subscribe, but then I have to manually add the role so if the user wants to get subscriber features before I get the email notification and edit their role, the user is stuck. This is a pretty unsatisfactory way to maange this simple task. How do I find contact info for the PayPal module?

If you look at the module settings or on the extensions page, you may be able to figure out the exact name and version of the modules.
