I got beyond the tutorial download issue by waiting............Sorry for the bother. I then downloaded and installed the monitter4dnn module. When I installed it on my site I recieved the following error message.... Thanks.

The monitter zip file is NOT a module. The monitter.com website has some instructions on what you should do with it after the download.

Joe, this doesn't refer to monitter.com, it refers to MonitterforDNN at:
http://monitter4dnn.codeplex.com
So, it is a module installation zip

Bill,
What version of DNN are you using?
Monitter has now changed to SocialScapes 1.11 and the download notes state:
This release is focused on implementing a DotNetNuke 5 version of the module.
This release will not run in DotNetNuke 4.x and is functionally equivelent to Monitter 1.1.0

Hi Bill,
Please reply in the forum rather than email me direct as no-one else can view your repsonses.
Your version is 4.6.2, therefore socialscapes will not work on your dotnetnuke version.
However, if you go to:
http://socialscapes.codeplex.com/
Click on the downloads link on the right hand side (not the download now button)
In this box there is now the option to download Monitter4DNN v1.1, if you download and install that version exactly as the tutorial states, it will work with your version of DNN,
Thanks,
Lee Sykes

Lee thanks for your help. The alterantive solution worked and the monitter module is installed on the site. Is there a way to stop the twitter module from displaying DNN twitters at the start? I would rather have it default to either nohting so the user selects what they want or allow it to default to something specifc ot my industry.

I have not found a way for it to default to nothing, but you can have it default to your industry.
Go to the module settings
Enter your industry keyword into the search terms box
