My splash page template is being used to display the Privacy Statement and Terms of Use pages.

I'm using the splash page option configured via Admin >> Site Settings

I've created/specified my splash page along with my home page. The splash page is using a different template than all the other pages of my site. Also, I have specified in both host settings and site setting to use the home page template. I have set the splash page to use a different template through the page settings.

I would like the Privacy Statement and Terms of Use pages to use the home page template and NOT the splash page template. It seems like everything is set correctly but the splash page template is overriding the other template.

Not sure why the Splash page is overriding.

The easiest way to set this up is to not use the TERMS and PRIVACY tokens in your skin.

Instead, create a Terms and Privacy page in your portal, specify the skin that you wish to use on those pages, then in your skin files, replace the TERM and PRIVACY tokens with links directly to the URLS for the new terms and privacy pages that you have created.

That's a good work-around.
