Does anyone know how to do an alternating background using the DNN 5 RSS Feed.

I tried the following with no luck.

You will find some examples if you Google "XSLT alternating" or similar. What happens if you replace != 0 with = 1?

The news feed fails and I get nothing.

Which feed are you trying to use?

I am using the DNN 5.0.1 RSS New Feed.

If I insert

Only one feed will display. if value = 2 I get none, and if value = 0 I get none.

I replaced the "<" with "{"

I was unable to find a working example so I rewote the default.xsl to allow alternating backgound colors.  Attached is what I came up with.

If you have a cleaner solution please let me know.

The function:  position() mod 2 can have only two values:  0 and 1

So ... if you have a test for  position() mod 2 != 1, that will provide the styling for the even numbered lines.  This should be matched with a test for position() mod 2 == 1 which will style the odd numbered lines.
