Your posting is a bit mangled, probably because you included some html tags.

But ... in the editor, click the image to highlight it, and then select the image properties tool from the toolbar. You can then select or enter a URL there.

Sorry about the mangled post. If you imagine an image made up in Fireworks or something similar, there is a particular spot/area where a link is required (not the entire image) in the image. This image would be a background for cell in a table (via the CSS file) and is not in a container. Can this be done Joe?

I haven't thought about imagemaps in quite a while, and have not, to my memory, seen it done in DotNetNuke, but I suppose that you could do that. You might want to google "html imagemap" and reading from there. You should be able to paste the necessary html in a text/html module in "source" mode.

I found this site: http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/...map.shtml. Following the steps I got this to work by using the Text/HTML module and inserting the image. I can move the "hotspot" around to where I want it, the link works just fine but when I update and refresh the page, there is now space below the image which I didn't have before and don't want. Any clues?
BTW, I can also get the link to work if I insert the image directly into the cell (instead of using the CSS file) in Dreamweaver and apply a "hotspot".
Do you see any problems with this methhod Joe?

I prefer to put things in modules.  Putting things directly in skin files is, IMHO, only for things that you want on every page.
