Links not working in flash

Hi, I have implemented a Flash map of the US on a client's site. The exact same flash files and XML that drive the content of the map. There are two pages that link to these same files via a Flash object. 1. HTML page 2. DNN page with HTML/Text module For some reason the links work on the HTML page, but not when the object is embedded in the HTML/Text module. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Most likely, the flash file is not finding the XML file -- I'm guessing that the links are in the XML file. How are you specifying the XML file?

There are two XML files that drive the map with numerous settings (colors, location of pin, pop-up info, embedded pictures, etc). All of the other settings are found and utilized by the flash file except the link. Any ideas?

I discussed this with the developer and the issue is that Adobe Flash looks at domains and treats domainname.com differently from www.domainname.com I was accessing the site using www.domainname.com and the links to domainname.com were not working. Accessing the site at domainname.com solves the issue and I have placed extra links on the page in case the user accesses the site via www.domainname.com. Thanks for your help.

It may also be that placing both domainname.com and www.domainname.com in your portalalias table will help, too.
