I am really glad you are featuring the aggregator module.
I am using it extensively on my site.

I actually worked with Richard to sponsor the RSS feature.
We use it with Ventrian for our main News/Around town.
He was excellent to work with, adding all the features I needed and more.

He helped me do the Image based tabs (Popular Pages/Departments) on the left of my front page as well.

Aggregator is a nice module!

pspeth - nice implementation of aggregator + good site design - richard gave me an example of how you can achieve that with RSS and the Ventrian News Article module in the Aggregator and hopefully by now he has also released the template for it as well.

We sponsored the RSS to achieve this on our frontpage.
For the News/Around Town we have nested aggregators pulling rss from ventrian News Articles.

Just to add slickness, we also use MetaPost to allow us to enter our new articles directly from Windows Live Writer.

(I would put a small plug in here for Metapost.  It is a great tool with a very friendly and accomodating developer.)

With metapost you can do clientside edits via Live writer with:
The DNN Blog, Ventrian and ZLDNN Articles, FAQ, Announcements and others.

Metapost also provides value added features with Images and Image Galleries.

FWIW, there are several other DotNetNuke modules that can "cooperate" with Windows Live Writer.  I believe that Engage's Publish and the DNN Blog module can be made to work with WLW.

This is definitely true.
I was actually using livewriter with the blog module before using MetaPost.
MetaPost did improve the capabilities when editing blogs.
