Hi Lee
Yes the code you provided works fine – thanx – but I can see that it easily collected by the spiders and other spammer tools.
(It is 4.9 I’m playing with.)
But I forgot to paste the code in my first post, so here it is:
(Some "<" and ">" removed to prevent this editor to convert the code.)
Code generated through the Link creation in DNN / FCK editor.
“”””p style="text-align: center"a href="javascript:location.href='mailto:'+String.fromCharCode(112,97,116,64,115,101,113,103,114,97,112,101,118,105,110,101,116,111,117,114,115,46,99,111,109,46,97,117)+'?subject=From%20Grapevine%20Tours'">pat (a) seqgrapevinetours.com.au/a/p””””””
This was the “numbers” I was querying about.
Now I tested to just type in a complete – and correct – E-mail address, allowing DNN to automatically generate the “mailto – link – code”. It looks like this.
“””p align="center"a href="mailto:Greaves@elsieshightea2u.com">Greaves@elsieshightea2u.com/a/p
This code does not open an extra browser window.
So, creating a Mailto link in the editor creates the above strange code, and it opens an extra browser window when clicked.
The last code is generated automatically and works fine??
Why the different codes???
Cheers
Olle..
