I am having an issue where, when using the new Google Analytics simple tracker, it is not being "read" by google. I have cleared cache and restarted application, still no luck.

Most of the time these appear for me right away (at least saying "tracking information" or some such), and I have used the method in DNN of installing on both the skin files as well as on the default page.

I had high hopes for the built in Google Analytics, but have run into two issues.

1) Does not take into account the fact that the code snippet can change (From the old urching to the more robust gooogle tracking, to an added "try/catch" to the most recent asynchronous code - which by the way does not need to be added to the end of your page - good for users who want uber control). There should really just be a code entry area. This way you can access all the nifty google analytics api tools - say the store & enterprise tracking. For fear of malicious code, you could make this a host only area, or allow hosts to add "templates" for analytics codes. This would allow other trackers as well.

2) I can't get it to actually work! I've waited a few hours now and I am still not getting any tracking installed responses. Any Ideas? Is this an error in the feature? I notice it has no try/catch, is there something wrong with the code injection as well? Does it not fire properly?
