Hi there, My client has brought up the issue of their existing links in the search engines and they wish to maintain these links and effectively setup a 301 redirect for the new pages. I have started using the URL master module and it does a great job for URLS that have a file name, but I'm having a problem with URLs that were pointing to a folder and relied upon the default file name. So here's what I'd like to accomplish. Original Link http://www.testsite.com/practices/c...accidents/ http://www.testsite.com/practices/work-injury/ Do a 301 redirect to my equivalent DNN Page. I have tried a number of things in the web.config (we're using IIS7), but nothing seems to work. Thanks, Dennis

Not sure if I answered this in the ifinity.com.au forums as well, but in case I didn't, I'll answer here as well.

The 'folder' requests are just Urls without an extension. All you need to do is to set up asp.net to handle these requests (by default, IIS will append a default document to the end, even though you don't see this happening).

So, open up your web.config file, and where it says:
[system.webServer]
[modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="false"]


change it to
[system.webServer]
[modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true"]

Then, just go into the Url Master module Page Urls page, and add in a redirect for the folder path you'd like to redirect. Ie, add in practices/work-injury as a redirected Url.

Also check your google/yahoo etc cache to see if there are any pages indexed with the old 'default' page. Ie, you might have /practives/work-injury/index.htm or similar. If that's the case, you should add in the full url as well as the extensionless version for the folder.
