In this tutorial we demonstrate working with Completion Events in DataSprings Dynamic Forms.
Completion Events allow you to setup events based upon field values in your forms. An event type can consist of redirecting a user to a URL or page, sending email, adding a user to a DotNetNuke security role, executing SQL and HTTP Post which allows you to post data from the form to another URL. Completion Events can be used to send data to services such as saleforce.com or aweber.com, for instance where you could add the user to an email autoresponder service.
In this tutorial we demonstrate how to setup Completion Events, we demonstrate how to send an email to the users if they tick a box in the form, how to send an email out to the administrator of the website which reports customer responses when a form has been completed and how to redirect a user to a new page on completion of a form.
