In this tutorial we demonstrate how to setup the DotNetNuke Core Search.
We walk you through configuring the DotNetNuke Core Search step by step, beginning with how to ensure that DotNetNuke indexes your website, the content that it should index and how to schedule a regular index of your website.
We then demonstrate how to increase the search effectiveness of your site and how to configure the display of the search results. Following this we explore the search web option and how to include your own Google affiliate ID in the advertisements that are displayed in the Google search results.
Finally, we explore the search skin object and how to configure the display of the skin object as well as how to setup the search input module.
Included with this tutorial is a PDF file which outlines the properties available for the DotNetNuke search skin object.
