Thank's young boy. I think what they have is about importing/exporting Events not lists of names. It is working with the event module and not updating the user list in the dnn portal. (?) |

Info from the page I posted:
OnyakTech Contacts is a Microsoft Outlook Add-In that synchronizes contacts between your DNN site and Microsoft Outlook. You can now easily access your contacts from any computer.
I would send them an EMAIL outlining your specific needs and see what they recommend. If you need an answer right away I would do it sooner than later. My expierience with people who produce modules for DNN are not as responsive as companys who produce .NET controls in general. |

I just want to confirm that OnyakTech Outlook Contacts 2.0 is a Microsoft Outlook Add-In that can export Contacts in Outlook to DotNetNuke as registered users. It can also import users from DotNetNuke to Microsoft Outlook.
Another feature of this add-in is that it can interact with the default DotNetNuke Contacts Module. This gives you the opportunity to sync the data in the Contacts module with your Microsoft Office Contacts folder. When used with several people, you can share contacts from your DotNetNuke site.
There is also another product called OnyakTech Outlook Events. This will sync your events in Microsoft Outlook with the core DNN Events module.

Also check out H2O... some details on H2O are below:
H2O is an application builder for DNN. There is no need to program anything in DNN again. Easily put together custom forms, configure security, attach to existing tables in SQL Server, accept payments via PayPal, complete custom views and more. The possibilities are endless.
Source Code for H2O is available from www.OnyakTech.com
H2O can be utilized for the following...
- Customer support request form
- Classified ads
- Journal
- To-Do List
- Book reviews
- News manager
- customer relations management
- Data Archiving
- User Registrations
- Dynamic Redirection
|
- listings of any type (shows, events, etc)
- College course listings
- Configuration management
- asset tracking
- repair orders
- request forms
- Extend User Profiles
- PayPal Payments
- and much more
|
New Features:
- More Controls: New control types Radio Button and Radio Button SQL have been added to the form editor.
- Parameter based dynamic email notifications. Great for automatically sending out email notifications based on entered data.
- New Commands have been added. These new commands also be executed when the form loads or when the form is saved.
- Redirect to a specified URL based on the current users Role, Affiliate ID or Region.
- Grant the user to a new Role
- Change the displayed name of button controls on H2O forms
- Data Filtering has been improved to allow the use of H2O Tags. This allows you to automatically filter contents based on the users profile information or portal values.
- New visual options added to hide part or all of the H2O Interface. By hiding the H2O interface, only your form will be rendered. This is useful when your form only contains Java scripting or H2O commands. Such as a form that specifically redirects a user based on their region.
- New Improved Searching
- New Options for Java Script Registration.
- New Step-By-Step User Manual
H2O takes custom forms to the next level by providing...
- File Upload Control: Provides a file upload control in your forms to have files saved to the server. Note that this is in addition to the ability to upload multiple files to SQL Server from the forms tab panel.
- Data Grid Control: Easily add data grids to your form. Accepts SQL Statements and you can use H2O Script Tags for dynamic SQL Statements to gather data based on the current user and more.
- Script Registrations: You can now register custom Java Script either at the top of the form or at the end of the form. Download sample H2O forms from the repository on www.OnyakTech.com. Samples include page load times, visitor details, scrolling text, mouse trails and more.
- New Custom ToolTips: H2O helps you present your forms in a modern professional look by giving you a custom tooltip look.
- More Search Features: Searching on every field in your form is now possible from the master item list.
- Look-Up Tables: Link to any table to populate a drop-down list using SQL Statements.
- PayPal & DNN User Roles: Add Users to a DNN Role after successful PayPal Payments.
- Hide Form Statistics: You can now hide form statistics from users
- DNN User Registrations Designer: You can now instruct H2O to treat forms as a DNN User Registration Module. Use this in conjunction with QuickEntry to create your own custom Registration modules. Works with both New Users and Existing Users.
- Module Level Filtering and Sorting: You can now filter and sort data based on specific module instances, allowing you to provide more control over visibility while using the DotNetNuke Security Framework.
- More H2O Scripting Functions Added:
- Collect Current Date and Time
- Connect H2O Form Fields to DNN User Registration Profile Fields
- Improved H2O Scripting: New scripting options allow you to create forms that collect the following information:
- Current DotNetNuke User Information: User ID, User Name, First Name, Last Name, Affiliate ID, Full Name, Email Address
- Portal ID
- Hidden Fields: Perfect for fields you are using the H2O Scripting Engine on or to hide the Primary Key of any forms connecting to existing tables.
- Updated User Manual: Includes tips and connecting to external databases, H2O Scripting details, etc.
- Forms can be saved to files and uploaded to H2O on any site regardless of where they were original created. Visit the repository on www.OnyakTech.com for free H2O forms.
- Stand Alone or External Data? H2O can store it's data in it's own tables and optionally in any Table in your database.
- Direct data access of existing tables
- Automatic Data synchronization between H2O and your database Tables
- Attach and Detach from external database tables at any time without causing any problems
- Choose between displaying...
- Menu System displaying all form applications in H2O
- A single form application
- Single Form and redirect after saving
- Single Form entry per user
- Ability to limit the user to viewing only entries they have created
- Lock Forms after they have been created to prevent tampering of original data entry
- Role based security of individual fields and forms
- Change your forms at any time without loosing any data or having to go through a complex process
- Customizable result views
- PayPal integration
- Email Notifications to a single user, defined notification list or Teams
- Create Email Templates for an entire module or for a specific project. Use Tags for dynamic content such as form field values.
- Import/export of data to database tables or excel
- Form entry administration with Team security
- Strong Field Validation using Regular Expressions
- File Attachments, Comments, History Log, Form Relations, Email Notification Lists and more!

We have used XMod to create our Store, Swap Meet, Meet Calendar, TV Schedule, Videos, and even used XMod w/AJAX to give users to visually select an Avatar in our forums (Active Forums). A tutorial on how we did this is posted here. |
