One of the most used modules on the sites I build is the banner/vendors one. I would however like to know if instead of the one banner picture you upload -  if there was a way to make it a rollover banner? Is there a add on module? can this be coded to do this?

You can see Lee's discussion of the ad module use on this site here.

Thanks - I saw that discussion before I posted, it seem to be talking about rotating the bannner, not creating a roll-over banner, I would like to have the banner picture when hoover over to change like here

http://www.cpomilwaukee.com/

hoover over the "free v28" banner

thanks

Hello,

I checked the site but couldn't see any banner that reacted to rollover. - But, to answer your question, as far as I know there isn't this facility in any of the current DotNetNuke banner modules.  However, have you tried creating a flash banner that reacts when you hover over the flash ad?  The banners modules do allow you to add flash banner advertisments.

Thanks,

Hi Lee  - went through the videos again - I didn't see where to upload the flash file - do I go to "Add banner" then just point it to the swf file?

Hi, I had the same problem and following the Gif instruction for a flash vendor banner did not work. I keep getting "Movie not loaded" message in the flash place holder.

Any idea?

Hi,

Did you check to make sure that you are able to upload flash files? If you go to Host -> Host settings -> Other settings, you will notice an area where you can define the files extensions that is allowed to be uploaded.
