Hello Lee,

I would like to replace the DNN Core Search engine, because I have lots of problem with it (some problems of indexation with Apollo module).
I have seen this website (his search page) and I would like to do the same. But I do not want to create a new page that you can see in the menu; I would like to replace the word "Search" in my skin by a link to a search page.

Is it possible ? How ?
(in addition, that would be great if I can localise the word "search")

Hello Lee,

Thanks for answering.

In fact, I am not searching a new module (*) to replace the core search. I would rather use Google search instead. And to do this, I need to insert into my skin a link to a page. And that's what I would like to do. I do not know if it is possible or not....
If yes, how ???

(*) I do not want a new module to avoid any further problem (I have a multi lingual portal, and adding a new module can bring problems). In addition, if you test Venexus search engine, there are some bugs. Try to surf the portal, then go back tp home page and do a search with the term: "search engine". You receive an error message: "null null"

Yes, you can insert links into your site's skin.

I suggest that you get familiar with all of Lee's wonderful skinning tutorials first.

Remember, a skin is "just" an HTML file, so there are many things that you can do.
